Graphite Drawings
2021:
With an iPhone, I photographed some my favorite, out-of-the-way, local landmarks. I then printed out 8.5 x 11 inch greyscale inkjet photos, enlarged via a grid system onto 18x22 inch paper, redrawing as I went along. I like the large geometric man-made shapes in the landscape, the presence of trees, the details in the buildings. Several of these landmarks have since been demolished. An ongoing project.
All drawings are graphite on cream 18x22 Strathmore paper.
