This is a recent print from an old etching plate I did while in college in the early 1970s. John Fowle’s The Magus was a popular novel at the time, full of magicians and magic and mystery on a Greek island.
I found the Daniel Boone Forest surrounding Morehead, Kentucky, to be equally mysterious and intriguing, but there would be shaman, healers, and witches instead.
