2018-2021

This series of etchings was inspired by a trip to Europe and an extended stay in Amsterdam. A contemplation of how methods of communication have evolved over 40 years, from handwritten letters, to email, to websites. I’m also interested in the contrast of etching vs. drypoint mark-making on zinc plates. And using one etching plate as the basis for a variety of images.
